The largest American public miner MARA Holdings ended June with a Bitcoin balance of 49,940 BTC worth $5.4 billion, becoming the second largest public company after Strategy in terms of digital reserves.
Of these, 15,534 BTC are placed in secured or custodial accounts. In June, the company did not sell assets, continuing to follow the accumulation strategy. CEO Fred Thiel called this result a consequence of “mining discipline and strategic purchases.”
Despite this, production indicators decreased: 211 blocks were mined in June – 25% less than in May. The reasons are storms and temporary relocation of equipment. Nevertheless, MARA plans to increase the hash rate to 75 EH / s by the end of 2025.
