Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has experienced a significant drop. Bitcoin broke through the psychologically important level of $61,000, reaching a low of $60,505. As of this writing, the price has recovered slightly.
Ethereum also did not escape the fall. Its price fell to $2911, down 8.8% from a week ago.
The fall affected most other cryptocurrencies as well. Solana (SOL) and Binance Coin (BNB) lost 5% and 4.6% in value, respectively. Toncoin (TON) showed an even bigger decline of 6.3% in the last 24 hours.
