Grant Coltap, the former CEO of Australian company ACCE Australia Pty Ltd, is at the center of a major financial scandal. He is accused of embezzling more than $2.2 million from customers of ACCE’s digital asset exchange platform Mine Digital.
In July 2022, one of the platform’s customers tried to buy $2.2 million worth of bitcoins, but never received his digital assets. According to investigators, Coltap appropriated the funds, using them to cover the company’s debts or for personal purposes.
